Introduction |
Gregg's determination to be an actor started in sixth grade following a viewing of the film "Oliver." Numerous school and community stage performances followed. Showing true dedication to his career choice, Gregg infiltrated a rival high school's theater department, auditioning for and winning a part in the other school's production. Following high school, Gregg toured England with the Warren Youth Chorale. Then it was off to California, courtesy of a one-way ticket to Los Angeles -- a graduation gift from his high school drama coach. His pursuit of an acting career eventually led him to the West Coast Ensemble group. The award-winning "American Basswood" from Andrew Campbell was among the productions Gregg appeared in with the group. Soon after he landed his first television role, a recurring part on the daytime serial "Days of Our Lives." Three years in a starring role on the television show "The Young Riders" put Gregg in front of a larger audience. His work since then has included additional television roles as well as performances in films and on stage. His voice has been heard behind numerous animated characters as well as on radio dramas and an audio book. So step inside and meet Gregg Rainwater . . . |
